Password Security

Make Passwords Strong And Unique
Length is key: Aim for at least 16 characters.
Complexity is a bonus, but not required: Use a mix of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols if you can.
Uniqueness is essential: Create a unique password for every single account you have.
Don't reuse passwords: If one account gets hacked, hackers might try using the same password on other sites where you have accounts.
Use a password manager: Remembering tons of unique passwords is hard. Password managers securely store and manage your passwords, and can even generate strong, random passwords for you.
Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA): MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step, like a code from your phone, when logging in.
Be wary of phishing scams: Never share your passwords with anyone, not even someone claiming to be from your bank or a tech company.
Use strong security questions and answers: Don't pick easily guessable answers to your security questions.
